§ Solutions / Call Centers
AI voice for call centers — global, with deep India support.
Vanie AI runs an autonomous AI agent across your inbound + outbound queues in under a week — 24/7 coverage, TRAI-compliant in India, and no telco rebuild.
Why call centers run on Vanie AI
24/7 coverage
No night shift, no holiday gaps. The same agent answers at 3am as at 3pm — with identical script adherence.
TRAI + DND aware
Built-in DND scrubbing, call-window enforcement, and audited consent capture for every outbound campaign.
8 Indian languages
Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Marathi, Kannada and 3 more — with mid-call code switching that matches caller behaviour.
Per-call analytics
Per-call cost, duration, sentiment, and full input/output transcripts on the dashboard — plus HMAC-signed webhooks to push every event to your own systems.
How it works
- 01
Connect your trunk
Plug in your existing SIP / Twilio / Exotel trunk in minutes. Keep your numbers and your IVR. No telco migration.
- 02
Train on your scripts
Upload call scripts, FAQs, rebuttal docs, and a sample of recorded calls. Vanie AI builds the agent and runs a shadow week.
- 03
Go live, measure, iterate
Start on a slice of traffic. Watch per-call cost, duration, sentiment, and full transcripts on the live dashboard. Ramp up when the numbers beat your baseline.
Where AI voice replaces a queue
Lead qualification (outbound)
Dial fresh leads, qualify against BANT criteria, book the demo on the rep’s calendar, and drop hot leads to a live closer.
Tier-1 inbound support
Answer order status, refund status, password resets, and policy questions from your knowledge base. Escalate only what humans need to touch.
Collections + reminders
Polite, compliant payment reminders in the customer’s language with a one-tap payment link sent during the call.
Survey + NPS calls
Run post-purchase surveys with branching follow-ups. Capture verbatims and score sentiment in real time.
Appointment confirmation
Confirm, reschedule, or cancel — write back to your scheduling tool the second the call ends.
Win-back campaigns
Re-engage dormant customers with a tailored offer that adapts based on the customer’s objection during the call.
How AI voice fits a call center
Vanie AI runs realtime speech-to-speech AI voice agents on Google Gemini Live — a single streaming model, not a chain of separate transcription, language, and synthesis steps. That means the agent listens and speaks in one continuous stream, with barge-in and voice-activity detection so callers can interrupt naturally. One agent answers inbound calls and places outbound calls, and every call captures full input and output transcripts. There are two halves to a call center workload, and the same agent covers both.
Inbound Tier-1 deflection
The agent answers order status, refund status, policy questions, and account queries by searching your knowledge base — documents you upload or import from Google Drive, retrieved mid-call. When a caller needs a person, the agent connects the caller live to a human — to a single number or a routed set (for example support vs sales). Only the calls that truly need a human reach your floor.
Outbound campaigns
Schedule outbound from a form, a CSV upload, or the API. A background poller dials each contact through the same agent — for lead qualification, reminders, confirmations, surveys, or win-backs. The agent can check calendar availability (Google Calendar, Outlook, or Cal.com) and book a slot mid-call, then hand structured results to your team. Because billing is per minute, a campaign costs exactly the talk time it generates, with no idle-seat overhead between calls.
Telephony & bring-your-own trunk
Keep your existing numbers and IVR — there is no telco migration. Bring your own Twilio or Exotel account, or any SIP trunk, with presets for Jio, Vi, Airtel, Tata, and Servetel. Prefer not to manage carriers? Buy a number from us as a reseller. Each number binds to an agent for inbound and acts as caller-ID for outbound. Beyond the phone (PSTN) and SIP, the same agent reaches customers on WhatsApp (multimodal chat — image, audio, video, and documents) and Telegram, and you can run a browser-based live test before binding a single number.
In-call tools the agent can use
- • Knowledge-base search to answer from your own docs.
- • Calendar availability check and slot booking (Google Calendar, Outlook, or Cal.com), mid-call.
- • Live transfer to a human, on request or on the triggers you set.
- • Graceful end-call when the conversation is complete.
- • Persona, prompt, model, voice, tools, transfer rules, and working hours — all editable in the dashboard, live within ~60 seconds.
India compliance, built in
Outbound in India carries real obligations, so the controls ship with the platform. Every connected call can open with a TRAI disclosure preamble and capture consent. Calling is restricted to a 10am–9pm window by default, and an NCPR/DND pre-dial check skips registered numbers before the agent ever dials. Promotional messaging runs through a DLT template registry that moves templates from draft to approved. For data protection, a DPDP retention policy, a PII-redaction toggle, and right-to-erasure are part of the stack. Recording is optional, and recordings are stored as private, signed URLs on Cloudinary.
8 Indian languages, with code-switching
The agent handles 8 Indian languages — Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Marathi, Kannada, Bengali, Gujarati, and Malayalam — plus English, and it code-switches mid-call when the caller switches language. For a pan-India queue that means a caller can open in Hindi, drop in an English product name, and continue in Tamil without the conversation breaking.
Recording, post-call extraction & the built-in CRM
When a call ends, post-call extraction pulls structured fields, a summary, and sentiment from the transcript and writes them into the built-in CRM — a Customer 360 that auto-builds a profile for each caller with interactions, transcripts, recording links, sentiment trend, notes, and tags. This is the platform's own CRM; there are no external CRM connectors. On the analytics side you get per-call cost, duration, sentiment, and full input/output transcripts on the dashboard, plus HMAC-signed webhooks that push every event to your own systems in real time.
What it costs — worked example
Pricing is per voice minute and fully transparent: 1 credit = ₹1. On the Platform plan (we pay the Gemini bill) a voice call is 5 credits/min; add 0.5 for optional recording and 2 for optional post-call extraction and you reach 5.5/min base or 7.5/min all-in. Bring your own Gemini key and the call rate drops to 1 credit/min (extraction 1.5), saving 75–95% on credits in exchange for a thin platform fee; keys are encrypted with a per-call key-fingerprint audit. All figures exclude 18% GST.
Illustrative example: a queue of 2,000 calls per month at an average of 3 minutes per call is 6,000 billed minutes. On the Platform all-in rate (7.5 cr/min) that is 45,000 credits ≈ ₹45,000; at the base rate without recording or extraction (5.5 cr/min) it is 33,000 credits ≈ ₹33,000. Bring your own key and the call portion alone (1 cr/min) is 6,000 credits ≈ ₹6,000. By comparison, a fully-loaded 24/7 human seat in India typically costs well over ₹25,000/month regardless of how many minutes it actually handles — whereas with usage-based pricing you pay only for the minutes you connect.
You can start at ₹0 on the Free Trial (500 credits, no card) and scale up through Starter (₹999, 1,000 cr), Growth (₹1,999, 2,200 cr), Business (₹4,999, 6,000 cr), and Scale (₹9,999, 13,000 cr), with Enterprise custom (≈ $12–$116/mo). Credits do not expire while your workspace is active; top-up packs never expire. Billing is via Razorpay — pay in INR or with international cards.
Pricing for call centers
Per-minute credit pricing — no seat license, no concurrency caps. 1 credit = ₹1. On the Platform plan a call is 5 credits/min, or 7.5/min all-in with recording and post-call extraction; bring your own Gemini key and the call rate drops to 1 credit/min. A fully-loaded 24/7 human seat in India typically costs well over ₹25,000/month, whereas usage-based pricing bills only the minutes you actually handle. Frequently asked questions
- Q.01How long does it take to deploy AI voice for a call center?
- Connect your existing SIP trunk or Twilio/Exotel account, upload your call scripts and knowledge-base documents (or import them from Google Drive), and configure the agent persona, voice, and transfer rules in the dashboard — changes go live within about 60 seconds, no redeploy. There is no telco migration: you keep your existing numbers and IVR. A practical rollout is to run the agent in a browser live-test first, then bind one number for inbound and route a slice of traffic to it. Illustrative example: a queue handling 1,000 calls a month at an average of 3 minutes per call uses roughly 16,500 credits on the Platform all-in rate of 7.5 credits/min (1 credit = ₹1), or about ₹16,500 plus 18% GST. You pay for actual talk time, so you can start small and ramp as the numbers hold up against your baseline.
- Q.02Is Vanie AI TRAI compliant for outbound calls in India?
- Vanie AI ships an India compliance stack for outbound. Every call can open with a TRAI disclosure preamble and capture consent, calling is restricted to a 10am–9pm window by default, and the platform runs an NCPR/DND pre-dial check so registered numbers are skipped. Promotional content flows through a DLT template registry that moves templates from draft to approved before use. On the data side, a DPDP retention policy, a PII-redaction toggle, and right-to-erasure are built in. Recordings are optional and stored as private, signed URLs (Cloudinary). Full input and output transcripts are kept on every call for your own audit. Illustrative example: a 500-record outbound list is scrubbed against NCPR/DND first, dialed only inside the 10am–9pm window, and each connected call leads with the disclosure preamble — so compliance is enforced before the agent ever speaks.
- Q.03Can the AI agent transfer to a human?
- Yes. Vanie AI can transfer the caller to a human during the call, as an in-call tool. You configure the destination — a single number, or several (for example a support line and a sales line) — and the triggers in the dashboard: a caller request, a regulated topic, or sentiment turning negative. The agent says a short hand-off line and connects the caller straight through. Alongside transfer, the agent can search your knowledge base to answer in-context, check calendar availability (Google Calendar, Outlook / Microsoft 365, or Cal.com) and book a slot, or end the call gracefully. After the call, post-call extraction writes structured fields, a summary, and sentiment into the built-in CRM, so the human follow-up starts from a complete customer profile rather than a blank screen.
- Q.04Which languages are supported for Indian call centers?
- Vanie AI handles 8 Indian languages — Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Marathi, Kannada, Bengali, Gujarati, Malayalam — plus English, with code-switching mid-call when the caller switches language.
- Q.05How is this priced versus traditional BPO seats?
- Pricing is per voice minute, not per seat — 1 credit = ₹1. On the Platform plan a voice call is 5 credits/min, plus 0.5 for optional recording and an optional 2 for post-call extraction: 5.5/min base, 7.5/min all-in. Bring your own Gemini key and the call rate drops to 1 credit/min (extraction 1.5), saving 75–95% on credits for a thin platform fee. You pay for talk time, not idle shifts. For context, a fully-loaded 24/7 human seat in India typically costs well over ₹25,000/month; with usage-based pricing you pay only for actual minutes handled. Plans run from a Free Trial (₹0, 500 credits, no card) up to Scale (₹9,999 ≈ $116, 13,000 credits), with Enterprise custom; +18% GST for India billing, international cards accepted. Credits do not expire while your workspace is active; top-up packs never expire.
